Mount Olive Farmer's Market Accepts WIC & Senior Vouchers

The Mount Olive Recreation Department offers a weekly Farmer's Market, every Saturday from 9am to 1pm in the Mount Olive Town Hall Parking Lot, 204 Flanders-Drakestown Rd, immediately in front of the senior center (across the road from the library).

Farm Wagon Produce proudly accepts WIC and Senior vouchers!

10+ vendors offering organic, New Jersey Fresh and specialty items that you just cannot find anywhere else.

FREE Outdoor Movies in Turkey Brook Park start Sunday, July 20thMount Olive Recreation is hosting a series of FREE for everyone movies in the park on Sunday, July 20th; Sunday, July 27th and Sunday, August 3rd.

Bring your picnic blankets and chairs! We'll bring the big screen, the movie and FUN!

The movie will be shown on the Great Lawn in Turkey Brook Park, 30 Flanders Road, Budd Lake, NJ 07828 - the lawn is the space just past Mount Playmore and the gazebo.

Mama's Kitchen will be onsite selling popcorn, nachos & cheese, corn dogs, empanadas and cold drinks. Marty's Ice Cream will with us as well.

Crafters & Artisans Sought - Mount Olive

Mount Olive Recreation is seeking more crafters and artisans to join our Farmer's Market!

We have space on July 19th, August 16th, September 20th and October 18th. You can chose to be at all dates or pick those you prefer. Spaces are $25/week.

Items must be homemade.

OliveThe Pet Adoption League is currently in need of a.m. volunteers to help do some light housekeeping and enjoy playtime with their resident kitties at PetSmart, Mt. Olive. If you have a couple of hours on your hands one morning a week, can't have a kitty where you live, can't afford a kitty of your own - then this is the "purrfect" opportunity for you!

Lauren Layfield and the Stone Soup Symphony in Concert

Paladin Knight Entertainment, Ltd. presents a unique afternoon of music at the Sussex County Community College Performing Arts Center, June 8, 2014 at 3:00 pm.

The concert will feature local rising star, Lauren Layfield, a resident of Long Valley and student at West Morris High School and the Stone Soup Symphony of Hackettstown. Volunteer Opportunity - Age 15+Mount Olive Recreation NEEDS at least 30 volunteers to assist us with the Raiders of the Lost Park Mud Run on Saturday, June 21st. Volunteers will be asked to help with set-up, directing participants along the course route, passing out water and parking. Volunteers MUST be 15 years or older.
