Body found in Newton identified

The body found last Thursday has been identified and police are looking for anyone who may have seen the woman in the hours before she died.

The remains, which were found on the Armory property off of South Park Drive, were positively identified as Mary P. McCaffrey, a 59-year-old woman who had previously lived in Newton, according to police Chief Michael Richards.

Vasa Park

We currently live in Panther Valley and are looking to buy a home. I found a cute home in Vasa Park, but the price seems too good and the property taxes seem unreal. Can anyone give me feed back on the area?! Thank you!
